Holiday Activities

Finally getting around to sharing some photos of some fun holiday activities we enjoyed before break! In math, we finished up our unit on multi-digit addition and subtraction. To review we played a fun game on our Chromebooks called Kahoot (this was a big hit!) and then we went searching around the room in teams to solve lots of addition and subtraction problems!

When we come back from break, we will be moving into a math unit about measurement and fractions. This is always a great unit to let the third graders help with some cooking at home!

We enjoyed some third grade team time! We read Snowmen at Night and then made own our snowmen out of construction paper. Check out what Summit third graders think snowmen do at night in the staircase at school!

Lastly, we spent some time making a holiday gift for someone. Hopefully these made their way home safely last week!
