Maple Street Park Change!
Maple Street Park Picnic---Wednesday, June 13th
(note: swim time has changed due to weather)
Just a reminder that the third grade classes will be walking over to Maple Street Park to swim, enjoy a picnic lunch, and play on Wednesday, June 13th. All students must have the following items:
- Lunch (if you did not order a bag lunch from school)
- Water bottle (no glass please).
- Sunscreen (note: staff is not allowed to apply sunscreen to students)
- Bathing suit (please ensure appropriate swimwear) and towel
- Underwear to change into if arriving dressed in a swimsuit
- Walking shoes and weather appropriate clothing
- Optional: Play equipment with their names on everything: Gloves, plastic bats only. No wooden or metal bats, no baseballs. You must use a tennis ball for baseball or catch. Tennis rackets with balls, quiet games or cards…
Tentative Schedule
- Walking from Summit at 9:15am
- Swimming from 9:45-10:45am
- Picnic lunch and playing in park.
- Departure time to walk back to Summit will be weather dependent.
